Water Temple = not so bad.
HYRULE IS RIDICULOUSLY HUGE.
Zant could kick Ganon's arse from here to Friday. And back again. Creepiest boss ever.

Exciting News [Nov. 12th, 2006|11:38 am]

The Wii has arrived in America for reviewers, gaming websites and media outlets. After getting their hands on Excite Truck, IGN can now confirm that you can play your favourite MP3's straight off your SD card. The option allows you to choose your song or alternatively, stream up to 100 songs maximum.

How to Select Music TracksCollapse )

Although Excite Truck isn't in Australia for a while, its still pretty exciting to know of this very cool feature - it has been available for PS2 and XBOX users on such games as the GTA series. Expect more titles, First and Third party to utilise this feature as the months after the Wii launch come rolling in.

Perth Wii Party [Nov. 9th, 2006|08:30 am]

OMG so awesome and I was so tired and overstimulated by the time we got home, I changed and crashed into bed.

Wii Play - pretty good and a good initiation for first time Wii players. We played the shooting game and I love the trigger button under the remote! awesome idea - I can see that being used a lot in future games... Red Steel perhaps? First example of the Mii characters being used to distinguish players.

Wario Ware: Smooth Moves - What a great game. Again, a chance to hone your remote wielding skills and have some fun in mini games. Fun stuff like pretending to shake a bottle of champagne, blowing up a balloon with a hand pump, driving a car, balancing a broom on your hand etc.

Wii Tennis - the remote is quite intuitive and seeing as this was the first Wii game I played, took a little getting used to as far as sensitivity is concerned. Still pretty good and this is yet another game where your Mii characters come in.

I didn't play Twilight Princess, only because we're getting it on launch (plus the lines were long for it!) and I'd like to have some small surprise on launch day.

All in all, I'm more excited than before for launch.

Remember the Wii Party contest that Nintendo Australia were running a few weeks back?

I got a call back yesterday saying I'd won a place among the 30 that were offered for WA to be one of the first in the state to play the Wii! sunky got a call too - what are the odds that a couple would both win a place?

So, on Wednesday we shall be playing the Wii!

Any other winners here?
